Rest & Restore
A day retreat to replenish and refuel, heal exhaustion and restore wholeness.
Can you dare to rest? What does it take to make time to stop doing and press pause?
Together we will explore the art, mystery and challenge of non-doing and conscious rest as a gateway for connection with our essential self. Constructive rest is an vital part of the rhythm of a healthy life, yet so often it gets relegated only as a reward. Do you ever feel you wish you could just take some moments of refuge away from the stressors and responsibilities of every day life to relax and refuel spirit, mind and body? Do you feel overwhelmed or burned out? This is a day to drop into the healing of deep rest, call back scattered energy and reclaim your power.
The day will consist of a variety of practices including gentle yoga inspired movement to unwind the nervous system, constructive rest, loving kindness meditation, compassionate enquiry, breathing techniques and a deep restorative Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep/ deep guided relaxation).
Led by two highly experienced facilitators – Anne-Marie Le Seve (yoga teacher of 17 years) and Ellena Fries (experienced body oriented psychotherapist).
Held at the comfortable and very peaceful Boswedden House meditation/ yoga studio which is set in a garden. Highly conducive to deep rest!
£55/ £45 early bird (if you pay before October 20th).
A simple lunch will be provided (£3 suggested donation) or you are welcome to bring your own.
No previous experience is necessary for this day and every body is warmly welcome! Spaces are limited so book early.
